Ready to learn how to sew? Sewing for Beginners 101 is a fun, hands-on class designed for anyone who is new to sewing or wants to build confidence with a sewing machine.

In this class, you’ll learn the basics of how a sewing machine works, including how to thread your machine, wind and insert a bobbin, choose stitches, adjust stitch length, control your speed, and troubleshoot common beginner problems.

You’ll practice sewing straight lines, turning corners, starting and finishing seams, and working safely and confidently with your machine. Then, you’ll put your new skills to work by stitching together your first simple sewing project!

No previous sewing experience is required. Come ready to learn, practice, ask questions, and have fun creating something with your own hands.
